I Rocked The Vote!

I did my civic duty and voted today. I wasn't planning on it, but since I didn't have to even go out of my way or wait in a line I decided that I might as well. Some people waited in line for hours just to vote, so I would have felt lazy for not taking 5 minutes to go and cast my ballot.

There was no line at my polling place either - So, luckily I was in and out in 10 minutes. Great!

I'm proud of you for voting! This year, I even read 2/3 of that little book they send out (did you get one) about the boring races that you never hear about. (I was originally going to say "the boring people" but maybe they're not boring at all.) I didn't get all the way through it, though, so I still was guessing on some, especially the judges.

I was happy cuz at the local level, some of the people I wanted to win, did, and some I wanted to lose, did, also, but not that Buttars.

Anyway, good for you! Not to get all sappy, but we are so fortunate to live where we are ABLE to vote freely, without violence, & then the peaceful transfer of power. We don't even know how lucky we are.

P.S. Check out your brother's conservative rant. It's funny & surprising :-) Who knew he & Sean were buds?
